Halloween @ the Not So Little Club of Horror a.k.a Zouk yesterday was a blast man!! DJ Aldrin's spinning was great...love break beats...the club was suitably decorated with grosteque images of skeletons with the organs dangling out, hanging spiders and wat-nots...The crowd was simply pumping for more man...
Being my 1st time involved in such an event, i was kinda surprised by Zouk's scale of planning...I thought the crew will be wearing their usual uniforms, but turned out that we had to play the part of Halloween as well...The guys dressed up as Chucky in jumpsuits and overalls, made-up with freckles and messy-hair effect...Scars were drawn to depict horror...For us gals, we were Chucky's bride...we wore a white lacy dress and veil on the head...Painted our nails black and used dark grey eye-shadow to create panda-eyed effect...In other words, we looked gothic....
It was kinda funny though, coz for the floor staff, there were more guys than gals, so the manager was saying that muz have orgy cos not enough gals for the guys..haha...Even when i was assigned to Bar 1, i was the only gal amongst the 9 guys la. It was hard for customers to recognize us as crew coz we were all dressed up, but they soon recognise the guys coz so many Chuckys. But for gal-wise, they could not tell sia...Ended up not taking many orders...Some saw me collecting glasses and said " She's a waitress meh?" - super hilarious...Even when i approach the bill control to make my orders, the staff thot i was customer sia...
Anyhow, many customers dressed up for the occasion. It was like a masquerade...with all types of characters - I saw Bobdog, Donald Duck, Darth Vader, Ghostbusters, CWO people, Ronald MacDonalds with Fries and soft-drinks...There were ancient Chinese vampires, Emperor and Empress...yada yada...some worse sia..wearing the feathers and wings...so hard to walk past them...especially the lady carrying around a shower curtain...
But it was really fun !! A night of picture-taking..happy that customers wanted to take pics with me too! And some even chatted me up thinking i was a customer too...and offering to get me drinks...or asking me if i'm lost from my group...haha....It was really enjoyable though i was supposed to be working. People keep thinking i was some kinda runaway bride and the guys asked me if i would marry them....LOLZ

Snatches of thoughts:
Thought #1:Looking at the number of breakups and attachments around me, I wonder if the universe possibly tries to maintain a state of equilibrium, whereby number of breakups=number of attachments.....Although around me there seems to be more breakups recently...Nature does have its own way of keeping things in balance...Constant disequilibrium may be a form of equilibrium... Thought #2: There has been a dramatic change in governments these days - Japan has a new prime minister; Thailand has just experienced a military coup followed by interim prime minister who's a military man; In UK, Tony Blair is soon to go with Brown taking over his place. Is this some kind of establishment of new world order? Do you believe that what's in store is already planned by man?
